San Michele

Everywhere we went in Italy, I was
constantly astonished at the variety and
intricacy of the architecture. The people who
created all of this stuff never needed 80 ton
hydrolic cranes, fork lifts or building permits,
and it's still there after all this time. Imagine.

Yeah, more stuff. These buildings look like they are moving. How do you do that?? I half expect the Popa to stick his head out of one of the windows. Keep it coming.

The illusion of movement is achieved using a technique known as, "Three glasses of wine with lunch." Artists have used it for centuries.

Loved the San Michele drawing too. You have what it takes for motivation in the classic artist tradition-the three glasses of vino altering perspective... a few too many and you get the schizo-cubist-Pollack look. I noticed that you were one of only 300 bloggers with the ukelele interest. Do you have any favorite uke songs? The only one I can remember is the tippy toe tulips one.

Tiny Tim, bless his little ( tiny ) heart. I like the classic uke tunes: " Little Grass Shack"
" Lovley Hula Hands" " Hukilau ".
