Willie Dixon

Willie Dixon is one of the greatest
names in blues music. In the 50s and 60s,
virtually every major blues artist
recorded one of Willie's songs.
He's the original Hoochie Coochie Man.
This sketch is from a photograpgh
in a great book on the history of the blues
titled Nothin But the Blues,
by Lawrence Cohn.

Thank you for your beautiful blog. It is wonderful to see someone with such an obvious eclectic approach to life put themselves out 'there" and share their inner process with the rest of us who struggle along every day wondering how we got to this planet in the first place. Your work is an encouragement to all of us. May I mention a book that has been around for 25 years but that I just became aware of? It's called "THE GIFT:CREATIVITY AND THE ARTIST IN THE MODERN WORLD" by:LEWIS HYDE. Please share more of your work soon. Thankyou
