Serra museum, has been a San Diego
landmark since 1929. It was in July
of that year that George Marston,
a noted San Diego businessman and
philanthropist dedicated the site he had
spent over 20 years developing.
Built near the original 1769 location
of the first Spanish settlement in
what would later become California,
the Presidio stands today as the
gateway to Mission Valley, home to
freeways, car dealerships, hotels and
shopping malls. I drew this sketch from
the parking lot one sunny afternoon.

I am a business man; my question is this: do you have a problem with car dealerships and shopping malls? I sense saricasium through out your blog. A kind of low level cynicysim.I may be wrong.I sense a lack of respect for the institution of capitalisim that has and continues to make this country strong! Our country would not be what is without shopping malls think about it: I am right now.
